The College Ministry at Church of the City creates a welcoming community for college-aged students to deepen their faith and integrate into the body of Christ. Through various groups and gatherings, we help students feel seen, known, and valued as essential members of our church family. We desire to empower students to take ownership of their faith and continue their spiritual journey as they transition into adulthood. We’re excited to be part of your faith journey and growth!
Our college students have a Thursday rhythm. The first Thursday of each month is The Gathering. This is where all college aged students gather together for food, worship, and teaching. The remaining Thursdays of each month, students meet in coed community groups lead by adults in homes to engage in conversations based on the previous Sunday sermon.
The way of Jesus is best practiced with others. Join other college-aged students in community groups that meet around the city on Thursday nights for a time of Bible study, prayer, and deeper connection. To learn more or find a group that best fits you, check out our groups page below.
We desire deep change through transformational discipleship that focuses on growth and healing as we pursue the formation of people in our College Ministry. Mentorship is a pivotal part of our growth as we encourage and challenge one another in our walks with Jesus. Some mentoring is for a needed season in our lives and others can last much longer. If you are looking for a mentor we ask you to fill out the form below.
We are looking for couples that live in the Franklin area and are passionate about college aged students to open their home on Thursday nights and lead discussion.
If you feel called to walk alongside a college-aged student during their season of growth and discovery, we would love to have you as a mentor! Please take a moment to fill out this form so we can begin the process of connecting you with a student.

Our College Meet-Ups aim to connect college students within our church and the broader church community. This is where any interested college student can come together for friendship and fun, and is both for the churched and the unchurched of Nashville! This is an excellent first step for new students to be introduced to the College Ministry at COTC.
