Address inner wounds. Identify and break strongholds. Experience healing and freedom. Freedom prayer is a focused, personal prayer ministry led by members of COTC’s Freedom Prayer team. This ministry uses a biblical framework to make room in prayer for the Holy Spirit to have his way in our hearts - for the ultimate purpose of knowing God better (Ephesians 1:17). While God can meet us any time and in any way, He has promised that when two or more of us gather in His name, He blesses us with His presence (Matthew 18:20). When we wait on Him together, we can confidently expect Him to reveal himself. As our hearts are tender and open to Him, we can trust He will guide us into truth (John 16:13). This is the heart of Freedom Prayer - to wait expectantly on Him, together, as we create space for the Holy Spirit to identify, address, and heal whatever he desires to within us.
